Project Summary: This mixed-use building is a six-story concrete complex with one cellar for parking. The 1st floor and part of the 2nd & 3rd floors are commercial spaces. Mat slabs are the foundation of the building to reduce the risk of uneven settlement. Major challenge for the structure design was column transfer and stair transfer at low levels through floor beams with limited depth. Complex field conditions at adjacent properties were addressed in a timely manner.
