Project Summary: This mixed-use building is an eight-story concrete complex with one cellar for parking. The 1st floor is a mix of parking and commercial space. The east and west wings of the building above the 2nd floor are residential condor apartments. The building was built on soft clay in an irregulate site. Tangent piles and soldier piles were used in Support Of Excavation. Thick Mat slabs are the foundation of the building to reduce the risk of uneven settlement. Both Mat slabs and SOE were phased. JWC AE also made concrete shop drawings for smooth coordination and construction. Complicated field conditions at adjacent properties were addressed in a timely manner
